Post caps are a must for any fencing project. A good post caps completes the look
of a well made fence. Lanark Cedar sells a variety of eastern white cedar post caps
to match almost any style of cedar fence.
Single Beveled
This post cap is the most economical and is simple in design. The single beveled
cap features a bevel cut on the top edge of the cap and a flat bottom which makes
for a simple installation. Available to fit 4"x4", 5"x5" & 6"x6"

Double Beveled (The Lanark)
This post cap provides a classic look with more functionality and durable design.
The cap features a bevel on the top and bottom edge of the cap. To add to its durability
this cap also features a recessed cavity on the bottom side that allows a post to
fit in. This recess helps prevent water from resting on the end grain of your post.
Available to fit 4"x4", 5"x5" & 6"x6" posts
Victorian
This post cap offers a more detailed design that lends itself to a rich looking
fence. This type of post cap often looks smart when paired with a Richmond or the
Victorian Trellis style fence. The cap features a slightly peaked roof and a cove
detail on the bottom edge of the cap. This cap also features a recessed cavity on
the bottom side, similar to the double beveled cap. Available to fit 4"x4",
5"x5" & 6"x6" posts
Gothic
This is a very unique cap that provides an alternative to traditional understated
caps. This style of cap is often paired with a gothic style picket fence but also
dresses up some of our privacy fences. The Gothic Caps stand approximately 9"
high for a 4"x4" post and are progressively larger for the 5"x5"
& 6"x6" posts.
